Integrating Our Voices: Centring Stories of Migration

Integrating Our Voices: Centering Stories of Migration is the first annual conference on the immigrant and refugee experiences in the Canadian post-secondary education system.

We are proud to have partnered with the Newcomer Students' Association of Ryerson on a panel about success stories of immigrant women, and the different barriers to their leadership and civic engagement.

Moderated by Hodan Ahmed, a Somali political activist, this panel will begin with a keynote from former MP & Toronto mayoral candidate Olivia Chow, followed by a panel including civic activist Shazlin Rahman, public health advocate Antu Hossain, and our founder Arezoo Najibzadeh
